Deutsche Bundespost

Deutsche Bundespost, German Federal Post, was a German state-owned postal and telecommunications company founded in 1947. The company was dissolved in 1995 and split into three publicly traded companies: Deutsche Post AG (post), Deutsche Telekom (telecommunications) and Deutsche Postbank AG (banking). It was founded in 1947 as the successor to the Deutsche Reich post (German Imperial Postal Service).
