DBHF

In 1950 FATME produces for the Italian market the successful model of the Swedish company Ericsson DBH-1x. It takes the same model code as the parent company with the addition of the letter F i.e. DBHF-1xx. The extra letter was the FATME company initial. Both externally in design and internally in the arrangement of components on the base there is absolutely no difference with the device produced by the parent company. The differences one notices at first glance are in the handle, the embossed Ericsson logo has been replaced with that of FATME-ROMA. On the base of the device is imprinted the company name and the model code. Also, the Italian company, in addition to the classic colors of ivory and black, released it in red and cypress shade. Finally, the perforation has the Italian company’s name embossed on it. The phones released in red and cypress are highly collectible. In Greece there was no cooperation with the Italian company since the Swedish company Ericsson was a partner of the Telecommunications Organization of Greece (O.T.E S. A). A small number of FATME phones have been commercially released. Also those traveling to Italy brought individual Italian telephone sets.
