Here we see an insulator made in Germany by STEMAG AG (Steatit-Magnesia Aktiengesellschaft), made of porcelain in brown color. This company was founded in 1921 in Holenbrunn. Following an initial integration with AEG in 1970, the company merged with Rosenthal Stemag Technische Keramik GmbH in 1971, also known as RIG. The code according to the National Insulators Association (NIA) is U-1278. The dimensions of the insulator are 85mm x 125mm.
