OTE

American-made glass insulator by Armstrong Cork Company. The Armstrong Cork Company was founded in 1901 and was a bottle manufacturer based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. In 1938 he bought the glass insulator company White Tatum Company and expanded to the manufacture of low and high voltage insulators. In the beginning, only the company name was printed on the insulators. Later, with the replacement of the molds with new ones, a circle appeared in the first letter of the name. It was the new brand of the company. In 1974 the company closed permanently. The code according to the National Insulators Association (NIA) is CD-128. It was built for use in long distance telephony from 1938 until the end of 1970. The dimensions of the insulator are 62mm x 99mm.
