OTE

In 1954, the insulator factory in Lahore, Pakistan was established under the name Electrical Equipment Manufacturing Co Ltd. (EMCO). The first complete insulator factory operated with the active participation, know-how and machinery from Japan and France. Following the growing and diversified demand for insulators, it was decided in 1965 to expand the facilities for the production of all types of insulators. Here we see a 1990 white porcelain junction insulator for the telephone network of OTE. The dimensions of the insulator are 103mm x 116mm.
