RFT KP 50

Telephone Line Tester 1970

Here we see a KP 50 telephone made in the 1970s. Internally the fittings and accessories are the same as those of the original 1950 RFT model. The box is again made of wood but not walnut but marine plywood. The current and frequency measuring instruments are no longer round but square and the resistance measuring instrument is also square and made of plastic and not of Bakelite that was in the original model. The rotary dial is later plastic and not the metal NS38 with the Bakelite finger wheel.
