In the 1960s, OTE places in its subscribers the Elektrim Model CB643 telephone device which is manufactured in Poland by the Radom Telecommunication Company (RWT). RWT’s history dates back to 1938 when the company was founded by Ericsson as its subsidiary in Poland. After World War II, RWT became the leading telephone manufacturer in Poland. The device is made entirely of black Bakelite. The rotary dial is white with black numbers and the finger wheel is made of white plastic. At the back of the shell we see the company logo in relief. We notice that the logo is embossed in the middle of the handle.
