M 55
With GND
Here we see a gray M55 phone with a ground button which tells us that this device was in a call center. On the back of the device, at the point where the cords are connected, there is white plastic and the company name is embossed on it. The handle cord is spiral in the shade of the device. The number plate of the rotary dial is made of white porcelain with red numbers. The fingerwheel is made of transparent plastic. The finger stopper is metallic in nickel color. In one of the photos below we see the chassis of the device which is made of plastic and suggests that it is a production phone after 1970, it is an Fg Tist 282cb. In the housing-shell of the device we see in relief the inscription BEST No 102. OTE due to the large number of devices it had installed had the obligation to maintain them. Since the construction company stopped supporting the M55 with spare parts, OTE placed an order with a Greek plastics company and supplied it with shells and handles. The bells on this device are made of bronze. The M55 telephone was in operation until the end of 1995.
