RFT KP 50

This device was developed by RFT in East Germany in the 1950s for Series 50 automatic dialing systems. It used telephone exchanges as a central measuring device to control local systems. With the help of articulated lever technology and external and internal systems, each connected device and telephone line could be checked for voltages, currents or Z values. It was still possible to control the rotary dials and the frequency they emitted. Here we observe a device of this type made in 1957. In Greece they were used by OTE in the General Distributors for the measurements of telephone lines.
