In 1980 the British company Wild & Wolf Ltd re-released the 746 with exactly the same design and with the addition of the word ΄΄Retro΄΄. The dial was replaced by a keyboard and the analog mechanism by an electronic board. The ringing has been kept the same, which is produced by an analog bell. The base of the device is now made of plastic. It was available in fourteen shades: concrete grey, English mustard, petrol blue, mint green, red, french blue, chrome, gold, carnation pink, black, copper, marble, raf blue and retro brown. Its weight was about half a kilo in contrast to its predecessor which weighed one kilo and its dimensions remained the same, W: 21.5cm. x B: 16cm. x H: 14.5cm. In addition to Great Britain, it was released in Australia and New Zealand. Very few devices were found in Greece, usually by those who traveled to England and bought it as a souvenir, mostly in a petrol-blue shade.
